Every month I chronicle those ordinary delights that give me comfort or offer a place of reflection or joy. Here are my everyday delights for February:

This stationery: I adore all stationery with typewriters, from thank you cards to these little blank notes. Handwritten notes in the mail are the best pick-me-up or affirmation (I received an unexpected message this past weekend that put an immediate smile on my face) and I regularly browse Paper Source and other stores for these fun goodies.

This necklace:  I selected consistency as my word of the year in 2017. I need a visual reminder of my word sometimes. My friend Pamela Hunt Cloyd hand-stamped this necklace for me and I love every detail of the pendant. Her jewelry is charming, authentic, delicate and timeless. Check out her online store, Wire + Salt Jewelry.

Early morning sunrise: I had the good fortune and opportunity to catch this morning sunrise. The hues were whimsical and ethereal – the breath of early air and a deep breath is a meditation.

My piece on chai: I started food writing late last year and I’ve enjoyed exploring how to find my voice in this area. It is always a thrill to see my name in print. When my words are paired with charming art, it is an unforgettable satisfying joy. So thrilled to see this piece in the Phoenix New Times.

What were your everyday delights this month?
